Will warranty cover transmission?

One reason you might want Ford to cover this is what transmission the bad one will be replaced with. Most aftermarket warranties will want to go the repair, remanufactured, or salvage replacement. Ford....might just send a new oem transmission in this case with the two failures already recorded.

No its an 8 speed

69,000 isn't much for a trans. I think you still might have some recourse, maybe split the cost or something
