WiFi hotspot in 2024 Lariat Maverick?

Just bought a 24 Lariat and all the info I've found on line says it has a hotspot modem; can't get it to work and called Ford support they say that due to a chip shortage it was left out. Anyone else have this problem?

The wifi hotspot was removed by Ford from my 24 Lariat and I got a $25 (or so) credit. Whoopee!
I just connect the phone and use the data from it (actually have two phones with different plans -Canada and US).

i found it on the Ford website Ford website says the FordPass Connect has a WiFi hotspot that you activate thru the FordPass app.

I have the same. NOT A PROBLEM, modem removed before i took delivery and I got about a $20 discount.
