Why hello there Santa Cruz! Buddies or Rivals?

there are features in the bed that i wish the mav did that the santa cruz has:

1)the factory rolling locking cover (not having to pay 800-1200+ for one once you receive your truck)
and 2) the storage bin under the bed with the drain plugs

I have now seen more SC's in person (2) than Maverick's (1) on the road (not counting mine)

Same power as the Hybrid Mav..191 hp torque about same..
I don't find it sluggish for a daily commuter, Home Depot supplies picker-Upper, Food shopper.
I can easily lay down rubber if I want
Mine is the SE FWD 2.5 NA Std Auto 8 speed

Good to know. Friends of which I speak have the AWD version of the Tuscon. Perhaps there in lies the difference to which the salesperson referenced.

I have been going back and forth between the two for a while. I have finally 100% settled on going with my 24' Maverick that I have ordered. I have had several Hyundai's, 1 of which saved my life. I really like a lot of what the SC has to offer. I just do not like the gas mileage or the price. PLUS, the Mav. has a ton of cool stuff you can do or add to it. The SC does not. and cannot due tot he way its made. Just my opinion. I do that that Hyundai has mad a very nice truck, especially with he XRT package.
