Which gatorback mudflaps do you think look better?

Hey everyone, I’m new here, and will be picking up my new Maverick Tremor this weekend. I would like to see what different people think looks better on a blue colored tremor for the gatorback mud flaps, or as Ford likes to call them, splash shields. The ones I am having a hard time choosing between are the black background with the ford emblem, and the black background and Tremor in orange. Let me know what you think, and why. Thanks!

For those prices I would make my own out of roof shingles.

I bought the Mabbett ones for $35.
Plenty of coverage. Put all 4 on in 20 minutes.
No problems.

Can I suggest option #3, which would be either no plate, or the blank gunmetal? I'm on my 3rd Maverick so far, and #4 is not too far in the future. I bought my RokBlokz for my 1st one (XLT), moved them to my 2nd(Lariat), and they are now on my 3rd(Tremor). I bring this up only since these are a fairly sizable investment, to think ahead just in case you get a non-Tremor in the future, and move them. I'm not a fan of adding (4) more Ford ovals, so I'd go for a more understated look.

yep, ordered mine July '24...one of if not the first thing to go on my truck...actually looks like I ordered floormats on the same order, those probably went in first, then the flaps.

The mats weren't cheap, but I liked them so much in my Fusion I ordered a set for my truck. good coverage and easy to clean. Only use glass/multi-surface/floor mat cleaner or you do the splits getting in.

Same here, but the Mabetts are ‘pros’ at holding an ugly dust color on the lower part of the flap! 🫣

I had heard the term ‘dust magnet’ before and Mabett Mudflaps sure fit the bill!

I just think that the finish on them is not conducive to a ‘clean look.’ Part of the flap stays a nice, clean looking black, while the rest of it holds dirt and looks dingy. As for functionality, they are great. That’s all.

I have had a set of RokBlokz on for almost 3 years and zero complaints. I think they are a durable / quality material and provide excellent coverage. Seems like they have some options for color of logo and flaps so you can make them look however you want. I did black/black and like them. $150 I think, but I am sure there are upcoming sales on everything next month (got mine for Christmas the year I got the truck). No chance of rubbing paint, etc. like some others do, use factory mounting points and they'll last as long as the truck. Lots of options out there though.

I really want to get rolblokz for my Mav also. They just seem the best for me.
