Looking for help converting the 12v cover into an actual 12v outlet (I don't like the drilling into the cubby thing). I've seen only a couple pictures of others doing this.

I'd like to know what exactly to buy to get it done. Also, is this cover available for sale? Or can anyone here make this and I'd buy it from you?

That is nice. I always worry what material they use. Heard the most common pla will deform in the heat.

Etsy had someone selling them a few months ago. Can't seem to find it now.

Got two made. The guy charged about 25 for correcting the hole size from the link you shared. First one he reglued because the strength is low in the way his setup printed the ‘slices’ on the hing clip part. The second he redid the clip design into two parts and used glue on purpose with wider joints. Haven’t picked up second one, the cheap compatible ford plug doesn’t work on a marine grade 12v spades. So using the expensive wire included with truck and down to a single 12v port, had planned to add same sized on other side for UBS/voltage meter type.

I did this exact project. I ordered an extra cover from the dealer, just in case. It was $13.

I already had solder, a soldering gun, and heat shrink tubing. It works great, took more time to figure out the exact parts I wanted to use than it did to assemble.
Where'd you get the extra cover from? I think that's the main thing I'm missing.
