Where is the hook at the front for canoe?

All, I just bought a canoe and can’t find a good anchor point for securing the front of the canoe. I find a really small hole at the bottom left and right of the front but it’s very hard to reach. Right now I just attached to the metal bar under the hood. Does anyone have better options?

I don't know yet what the bolt options are under the Maverick hood, but here is what we use on our 2011 Escape. There when you need them. Hidden when you don't.

I use these. Just clamp under when you shut the hood. Search Amazon for kayak hood straps. Towed the Maverick 2000 miles with zero issues.

Thank you all. Any suggestions for no drilling roof rack? Right now i just used a form block canone carrier, but it is very loud when i go above 40mph

Being a long time sea kayaker here you go two types one under the front hood the other near any door. NEVER put rope across paint surface EVER.
