I bought my 2024 Maverick Tremor XLT a couple days ago with 18 miles on it. All I wanna do is light off roading here on Maui but I read you need to break in a new car up to 1k miles. Should I wait till I have more miles before even attempting off road? Please help! Thanks!

You can off road , just don’t push the engine a lot with large amounts of high rev and or heat , average driving , with a little wheel spin you’ll be fine .
Just use awd switch as soon as you go off road and , choose locked rear end switch soon as you loose traction if not before( only on dirt though)
You can play with other tremor settings , sand is the best slip prentative( best traction) and the rest , at least with the tremor package are kind of gimmicky. The rear diff lock button is your best friend when your in awd , off pavement of coarse so as not to wear on clutch.
Don’t forget air down tires to 18 front,16 rear (can go 4 or 5 pounds lower if on sand , low speed and no heavy sharp side load turning. , and you will go amazing places . Mud terrain tires are a best first upgrade if you’re going to play in snotty stuff on the islands .( especially since mileage isn’t so much a thing on the islands)
There are a few others here on the forum over on the islands , may be able to help on trail and camping recommendations.
Just get a nice little compressor for airing back up.

That compressor is if you already have Milwaukee battery , otherwise buy something similar!

Thank you so much! Been watching a lot of beginner off roading tip videos but just had a specific question. Looking forward to see what my my truck is capable of!:)
