What will $1974 in "parts" get you?

I received my Velocity Blue XL Hybrid in October 2022. Only optional equipment was the full size spare and trailer hitch receiver. It was the dealers "demonstrator" and I got it for MSRP less a $500 discount - only 1800 miles on it.

Since then, I've added $1974 in parts which include Power Tailgate $157; Leather Steering Wheel from a Bronco (included cruise control after programming) $175; Bed Mat $82; Factory Alarm $190; Wheels from a Bronco Badlands $820; Bed Cubby $61 and a Tri-Fold Hard Cover $489. Suff that cost less than $50 not included.

Easy install, there are several posts on this on this site - took about 30 minutes. When I originally did the install, I made my own wiring harness. Decided since I'm keeping this truck, I bit the bullet and ordered the factory harness.

Here are the requested pics: The wheels, Steering Wheel (with controls already installed) and the cubby were purchased via EBay. The Bed mat and Tonneau cover from Amazon. The tailgate actuator and wiring came from Ford.

All prices were rounded to the nearest dollar and included shipping and tax.

looking up the parts it looks like around $150 to install power to the tailgate. That’s alot better then I thought it was going to be!

Well done. would be interested in more details on the trifold hard cover. Used or did you buy aftermarket somewhere? if aftermarket can you share where please?
