What make you think that the Maverick wil

What makes you think the Maverick will last. At least the SC has a 10 year power train warranty as well as a 5 year bumper to bumper and a 3 year free maintenance service. Compare that to Maverick. Then you have the recalls where the Maverick has more and has been built one less year. Then you have Jim Farley telling a group of retired Ford Engineers that ford has the worse quality of any other manufacturer and it will take years to correct. Next look at the the cost for repair work for that lack of quality. Ford had $4B in 2021 and $4B in 2022. Most of any other manufacturer by a large margin. Let me add Ford has to payout $17B in lawsuits for pickup rollovers because of bad engineering.

As far as overpriced you are dead wrong. In order to come close to the standard features when I priced as close to comparable Maverick to my SEL AWD it came out the Maverick was $1k more expensive. Build one for yourself and compare it to an AWD SEL..

The only statement that you made that was accurate was that the SC doesn't have a Hybrid. As far as the hybrid not a whole lot of folks will be getting one.

My suggestion to you is go buy the SC and say hasta La vista baby to these forums!

Idling plants, laying off employees and off shoring production tends to have a negative impact on employees and their morale. If they feel you consider them a commodity then their workmanship will suffer. Design solely by engineering panels versus input from the folks that build them and loyal Ford buyers doesn't help either. I think had that been the case this model would have been on the market several years prior.

Ford birthed every cow pie it has steped into. Every company does... just ask the employees. They can see and smell BS miles away and well before it becomes a production debacle.
