I asked my dealer and they confirmed my order was allocated for and they did COVP for the order.

Then patience is likely the only thing you can have right now. Why someone gets picked over another is seemingly random.

Allocations are king. If your dealer has plenty of allocations for the year, pretty good. If not, then not good at all. Otherwise, it is up to allocation headless chicken. Last week was clean-up and was all hybrid. So, when Ford opens up to mass scheduling this week are there any hybrids left to schedule? Who knows?

That's not how allocations work. They aren't awarded for the whole year- it's monthly and subject to change along the way based on prior sales and other factors.

Dealer is blowing smoke up your skirt. Allocations don't even come into play until regional team sets you at Priority #2 and locks your order. Then it's up to the factory to select your order for Production. If your dealer has an open allocation for your order at that time it can be built, and you should get a message your status has changed to "in Production".

I ordered 9/16/23 Lariat Lux, bedliner, mats, CP 360 and assist, moon roof, etc. Loaded like yours but np BAP. Thought chances were slim to none, but have build date of 2|27. Obviously this was after I paid over MSRP for an XLT Hybrid, but wife is taking it and I am trading my 22 EB XLT. I honestly think loaded gives you better chance.

I never said they were. I simply said that allocations will dictate everything whether the dealer knows their allocations or not.
