We'll be doing more revisions next week, then onto e30, and then we'll start adding parts!

But didn’t you say the tuner said he might or might not offer the tune? Confused as to why we should be excited for this tuning if it’s not going to be offered?

.....excited for the platforms potential. Because clearly tuning is doable, and gains are going to be easily had with minimal effort.

That said we're going to get a plan together and should have something to offer within the next month.

Be excited because this platform is just out of the womb, and we have vendors and independents cracking code and making gains.

Great content Mr. Boom! Thank you!

I’d rather support the companies who are making reliable Tunes available for everyone, not just bragging they can do it for themselves or a select few and not offer it.

And there are a few companies currently working on tuning for the Maverick that IS going to make them accessible to everyone.

And to make it clear I’m not talking about Mr. Boom directly he is just the messenger. I was talking about the actual tuner who tuned his Maverick and is waiting for his that hasn’t decided whether he is going to make tunes available.

Good, because the more tuning options,, the better. Whoever can release the best and most reliable tune is going to make the money. Everyone always flocks to the top few vendors for tunes.

There is currently 3 other vendors working on tunes that I know of.

A JB4 tuner piggyback is available.

I know Livernois is also planning on releasing a 2.0 EB tune because they told me so in a email.

Im sure more will follow. Can’t believe Cobb hasn’t released anything as big as the Maverick 2.0 EB is going to be especially since the ECU aren’t locked.

Sam is literally Cobb's Ford calibrator and literally nowhere in the video was there any bragging about doing it himself or for select individuals. Simply that he wasn't 100% on if HE specifically was going to offer tuning outside of COBB.

Any type of piggyback device, such as the JB4 is a hard pass imo.

Cobb hasn't released anything yet because the Maverick, unfortunately isn't at the top of their priority list right now they've got a few other Ford vehicles in front of it. And the amount of R&D they put into their Accessport offerings is extremely large.

But, Sam has the Greenlight to move forward amd offer non COBB branded tunes, so that's good.
That is great news, I'm a Cobb Pro Tuner and they said they had zero interest in offering tuning for the Maverick after I've asked them multiple times. I hope they release it!

Yeah I'd still say it's a solid single digit out of 100 as far as interest goes. If they (cobb) specifically offer tuning for the Maverick, I'd say it'd be late next year... if you catch my drift

I don't think so honestly. That said, as soon as a couple more companies release parts, I will purchase them all and we will do comparison tests to see who/what works and doesnt work.
