Nothing good ever happens when I scroll through Facebook Marketplace. Old scooters, broken outboards, industrial sized scroll saw… and now an Area 51 Maverick. Saw 3 Mavericks posted by a local dealer Wednesday night, put my deposit down first thing Thursday morning, filled out the paperwork today. I’m still not completely sold on the Area 51 over the Oxford White I have on order, but I figure a blue truck is still better than no truck. Easiest vehicle purchase I’ve ever had, truck was at MSRP, no weird fees, trade in value was more than decent. Soft tri-fold and floor mats are ordered, spray-in bedliner will have to be arranged sooner rather than later, and I’m trying to figure out how to make my Area 51 stand out from any other Area 51. Super excited to finally be back in another pickup, Doing pickup truck things.

Congrats. My opinion any color is better than white. I ordered Cyber Orange and ended up with Velocity Blue in much the same way as you. My dealer called me when the VB was refused. Never having had a pickup I am learning all the great things they do. Trip to pickup a puppy, trip to pickup some pictures in Big Bend, trip to take the bike to a great trail, ........ I'm a happy camper for sure.

That reminds me, my pup is going to need a cover for the back seat, and I’m going to need a gate across the seats since she has no boundaries and always thinks she should be riding shotgun.
