US to EU Tail light, Need Help.

Hello,
I need to convert my tail lights to be complaint with EU laws,
1. is it possible to change the pins on the BCM and made changes through Forscan?
2. could i use the pinout as the european Escape (kuga)?
3. or just use the signal from the from turn signal and the third brake light for the tail lights?
4. is ther another way to do it?

Although I would provide a signal from a Curt # 56477, rather than use the signal direct from the OEM harness.
