Upgraded my Ford Console Vault lock

Last year, I installed the Ford Branded Console Vault. I have really liked having it, but the combination luck can be a little bit of pain to use. So, I bought a finger print access lock to replace it. There's an app to go with it to program the finger prints and you can open it with the app as well. It was really easy to install and It seems to work great. So much faster that the four combination wheels!

Nice. Curious how that thing is held in position, bolts on the bottom?

Can you still access the key slot at the bottom, for key programming on push to start trucks?

It has metal sides in the interior bolted in. Unfortunately into the plastic only. I wouldn't trust it to hold something valuable in the truck parked somewhere unattended for a long time, but it works for me for quick runs into the store when I'm travelling or keeping kiddos out of the console though.

And the bottom has a cut out with removable foam over it for the mykey programming slot.
