Great for southern climes but up here it can tend to wash off the Woolwax undercoating which is a big no no.

When spring arrive here in about 3 months a nice drive in the rain and call it a day.
Not sure about southern climate, but mine is covered in salt and brine here in VA.

I researched that washer recently and decided it wasn't worth it. Seems like it just sprays up and not at angles. I can't really use it below freezing either and it requires the power washer. I do self car wash bays all winter and hit it at angles, that's plenty for me. Just need to do an extra thorough one in the spring.

i regularly go to a wand type car wash. i choose the salt treatment and initially treat the undercarriage including wheel wells. i get down on my "haunches" and get the wand under there. then i wand the truck w soap and rinse, then i do the soap undercarriage. seems reasonable enough and it's all under $7

I was about to post the same thing. I just bought one of these, along with a pressure washer and a foam cannon, and was wondering if there's any areas under the truck I should be cautious around because of all the electronic doo-dads.

We got snow 2 days after I picked up my Maverick and the truck looks like someone pelted it with white paintballs from all the damn salt. I took it through a touchless wash with undercarriage spray but I can see it didn't get everything so I figured I better just get a setup to do it myself

Works like a charm removing the winter crud from underneath any vehicle.

I would switch the position of the angled piece and the straight.

After looking at this post I thought it was a great idea to spray down the the undercarriage. But, I get my Maverick rust proofed every year with NHOU oil undercoating. If I spray the undercarriage it would slowly wash away the NHOU oil. I've been getting my Maverick rustproofed for the last 3 years and I asked Motor City Rustproofing if I needed to do this every year now, after he looked and sprayed the undercarriage he said every other year would be good since I have a good coating since I did this 3 years in a row.
