Recently my 2022 Maverick XLT hybrid’s remote start stopped working and it kept failing to connect for Fordpass Connect. I tried all troubleshooting effort, including removing the vehicle from the app and re-adding, reinstalling the Fordpass app, and master resetting the head unit, but none of them worked. I called customer support and they tried the same thing and eventually gave this TSB code: SSM51228 to try at my dealership. Today, they run the code, reset my head unit, and restore the connection.
I want to share this with you guys, so maybe you can try it if you have similar issues. The following is what I found on the code detail.
