Actually no one here actually knows what will happen if orders roll to '23.You should be price protected if your 22 rolls to a 23. There is no reason to pay a markup.

Hmm my dealer asked me if I wanted the front plate, of course I said no as I didn’t want holes in the front end…My same build, Lariat Lux Hybrid. Paid $30,844, but also waited 8.5 months.
Those screws through the front bumper make me cringe a little.
Or if you’re like me who was late to the party so the orders were already closed. My only option was to scavenge a canceled order or wait till I can order again and get one in 2023 which just wasn’t an option. I absolutely needed a new vehicle and found the exact truck I want, so I didn’t mind the markup all that much, nor did I really have a choice. Considering what I’m saving in gas with this hybrid (I can drive over 600 miles a week) plus not having to repair that old car or worry about it breaking down again it still feels like it was worth it.LOL
What about this scenario:
You ordered a truck at $28k MSRP and it appears it will now roll to a 2023
With a potential delivery in +9 months (or more)
Rolling to a '23, will likely encounter price increase(s)
You're looking for a Maverick
The exact truck you want is available now and has a MSRP of $28K
Most Mavericks ADMs are +$5K-$7K
Are you suggesting you wouldn't pay $29k today for that exact truck you want?
