It does go to show why the livernois handheld is better hardware. It give the ability to do that which you can with the Cobb. I have that very setup on my 160 because it also allows me to adjust ethanol content and launch with 22psi boost instead of 8lbs.

It’s great for what I do with that truck but I don’t have it for the maverick cause the fueling is not capable in stock form to do e85.

If I wanted launch control, I’d have to do the multi tuner right? Am I looking at it incorrectly
Yes you would have to. But as far as I know that is the only way to get launch control. But it think that can be added at a later date also. I didn’t add it because the cost and was concerned the trans may give up the ghost with that launching that hard.
I may add it though as I would love to have it when I’m in the dunes. Truck leaves the line very slow

Livernois tuned here also

I have only installed the 87-93 tow/economy tune so far and love it. The transmission revised shifting behavior is worth every single penny. It behaves so differently now and also squeezing on the throttle above 3K rpm's is a blast too!

This is fun reading all this. I’ve done it to many vehicles, Mopars, Firebirds, Camaro’s, in my younger days, and I do envy you all for your enthusiasm in making this mini truck go like ‘SNOT’. But, I bought my baby just to enjoy driving it as it is, and I do. Retired, but not an old fart, just don’t have the time for vehicles like I used to. (kinda wish I did). But, I definitely love reading all your informative posts!

This is the only thing I own I’m not trying to make crazy fast. I’ve been really struggling like I need weekly meetings to avoid a relapse.

But you probably have time. I’m not sure if anyone has been able to tune the 25 mavericks yet.
I wouldn’t bother with a jb4. They just are not in the same ballpark as tunes. It’s a step above stock sure but it’s not a tune.
So it’s worth the wait for me to get the tune over jb4.
Ive talked with Burger Tuning support and they say as long as you have the right model MAF sensors for the 2025 model it will work. They said dyno results are going to be released soon. But I agree a tune is better. However the upsides are it doesnt flash a tune so there are no flash counts and can be removed without a trace which is good for your warranty.

It’s soooooo hard to keep anything stock man, especially when you’ve been doing it for years. I lasted a month with the Maverick before I started purchasing shit lol😂
