that isn’t what a constraint means at all.

if they planned on building 8% and 10% were ordered, it would be constrained.
2 different things.

One is the production mix vs. the amount of orders received for any given component/feature/package/etc.

The other is what parts are actually available any given week vs. the amount they planned to build at that time.

It's entirely possible to be within the production mix for an option but still face constraints on that option during various weeks throughout the year.

So if they allocated 8% of Mavericks built to be Tremors and only have 6% (intentionally inaccurate), they'll likely all get built. However, say they expected to be able to build 50 in a week, but suppliers are running short and they can only build 25. That's now constrained for that week because they can't build as many as they planned.

But do you think that’s what op and the dealer is actually referring to?

Secondhand information without documentation sourced from dealer salespeople is generally not the most reliable, so how should I know? They tend to have a hard enough time learning the product much less the intricacies of the ordering, scheduling, build, delivery process. :)

Dealer allocations and your priority code is what hold up a lot of orders.

If your dealer has no allocations then nothing gets built.

All Tremor orders from dealers who have allocations will get built, because not many Tremors were ordered.

If your not scheduled by the end of May then your dealer had run out of allocations.

I love my Tremor, It was worth the wait.
