Tracking with Ferrol Carril mexicano

It’s super easy. I got my railcar number from ford chat. I call the hotline every day. Press 2 twice and enter your numbers. My 23MY has been slowly traveling Kansas and made it to Missouri yesterday. Hopefully now heading south to Florida for delivery. Eta is Dec 16-1st. It shipped 12/12. Poor thing probably got snowed on before it’s Florida life.

Have you been calling UP or NFS? I tired calling CSX but they referenced an older delivery when I entered my information. Also did your truck go through Laredo?

I was referenced an older delivery as well. UP had no record.

Also, if you want to post or message me your entire railcar number, I'm happy to give it a shot. I got to be pretty well versed in all of them after fighting the systems trying to track mine. Haha. Occasionally I am even able to get them to fax me a written status update (thru the automated system, not by talking to a human). About 50% success with that. Sometimes seeing it in writing makes more sense than hearing a robot lady trying to read it "text to speech" style.

The Union Pacific one offers to fax it to you. You just have to verbally say your fax number. I think you can also type it on the keypad. Worked about 50% of the time for me. Not sure why it didn't work the other 50%.

Depends....a lot of the rail companies have each others data, especially if the railcar traveled on their rails. They will track it the entire way. Only way to know is to try calling them and seeing if they have data that seems to apply to you (not some 6-12 month old data from the last time that same railcar was used to ship something).

NFS. Bc my railcar number was a TTGX. Went through Nogales, you can google the auto rail shipping route. Interesting for my truck to come to sfl it still has to go all the way up to the big junction in Missouri from Mexico then to sfl

Yeah, track with UP tracking and you will be fine.

Although some have better luck with the other rail company trackers. They all seem to have each others data. Just saying.

The railcar information we are provided by is given as a courtesy and if we call live personnel we may lose the access and ability to track.

CSX
1. Call the CSX 1-800-235-2352
2. When prompted for location or weight, press "1" on your phone for location.
3. When prompted for the car initials, say CN (or whatever initials you have) then wait for the next prompt.
4. When prompted for the car number, say 907048 (or whatever your number is)
5. When prompted for next car say DONE.
6. That's it; enjoy your updated status report.

Union Pacific
1. Call UP at 1 800 877-5123 1 800 877-5123
2. Follow phone prompts for Trace
3. Say the railcar number complete and clearly. Example CN123456 all together
4. Listen for your update

NS Norfolk Southern
1. Call 800-635-5768
2. Press 2.
3. Press 2.
4. Enter the letters on the numeric keypad then press #. As in: TTGX will be 8849
5. Enter the numbers then press #. It wasn't taking my voice prompts but typing worked."

I used Norfolk Southern had the same prefix as you. I belive NS does everything east of the Mississippi. Found tracking the railcar was very interesting.

I started tracing mine the first day it came into Arizona. Was 2-3 days after it shipped. The train has to make a stop for it to be traced

Does anyone know if the truck will ship by truck or rail to Indiana from Dallas texarkansas railroad junction?

Mine is now loaded on new train headed to loading ramp/dock for truck pick up. Train had to stop to be traced with UP.

1 full week in. And it made it to Kentucky so half way.

update from today. Huge progress my truck is in Atlanta. So 1 week from Mexico to Atlanta. Stopped almost every day.
