Second set of Toyo/AT3'S - Separated by a different vehicle and about 5 years- Still having this weird issue in that it seems these tires have very poor traction while in reverse on slippery surfaces - Noticed this again over the weekend while getting stuck in the snow and not really budging while spinning wheels in an attempt at self-rescue. I originally blamed the Mav but now I remember changing out my first set on an Element for Cooper tires and this backwards slip thing got way better.

Weird but anyone else with these Toyo's ?

I have them and have had no issues in snow. Put in slippery mode and didn’t have any issues with our last big snow. Probably 7” and deeper in some areas.

But in reverse ? I had them spinning so easily this morning in slick snow again while in reverse, traction light came on trying to go up a 4 inch incline- WTF. Driving forward they rock -

I have went in reverse with no issues but not up an incline. We haven’t had anymore deep snow recently To do more testing.

Going backwards up a dinky incline with 3 inches of Seattle style slick snow should not envoke the traction light coming on and wheel spin - Perplexed.

Yesterday you posted the lack of reverse in off-roading in snow. Now the driveway.
I have not been off-road but have backed up a snow packed drive with incline. No issues here

Yes snow is a thing in Utah - lol - Thinking it's more of a tire issue than a Maverick problem actually. I probably need to get some video for disclosure. I'm not crazy honestly -)
