Tonneau Latches

Ok I know most of you with covers don’t have this issue but with a previous shoulder injury I don’t have the strength I did and the pull down latches on my OEM soft trifold are getting the best of me

Does anyone have a different tonneau that can be tightened by turning a knob or does anyone know a way to adjust the tension on these latches? I have to come up with a way to make it easier because I’m always using the bed to move stuff and I really do want it covered.

I think that OEM softcover is the Truxedo TruxPort and it has self tensioners that you cannot change or do anything with yourself. I really don't know of a solution, but yeah it takes a bit of strength to slot it and push it down to latch it. Wish I could be more help for you. Maybe someone can come up with something for you.

Thank you, I hope so tooMy F250 has a solid fiberglass top that I just turn a knob in the center that unlatches both sides but it limits the height of things I can haul

I don't have my truck yet. But I've been researching retractable tonneau covers. You might see if that works better for your shoulder.

This looks like it would be a good option! Thank you! If I can’t find something else that works before those become available I will probably sell my cover and buy this one!
