Five thousand miles on the Maverick and still love it.

I borrowed my buddies trailer to go pick up a rotary lift. The trailer makes the Maverick look small haha. Tows the trailer great with no issues. Oil changes will be much easier now!

At the end of March I had some Falken Wildpeak A/T Trails installed. I went with 235/65R17. The around town fuel mileage has dropped some but that might be me driving harder. I will be doing a trip down to Tennessee at the end of this month so we'll see what the highway mileage is. Tires are quiet and smooth. I'm glad I went with these.

The Maverick had its third oil change this weekend. A little over 5k miles on this oil. The old oil looked very good. I did send a sample to Blackstone to see what they say.

HPR really pops. The ceramic coat is doing wonders for the truck. This was taken after it rained.

Last night I picked up my 2022 Maverick XLT Ecoboost from the dealership. I placed the order on 1/22/2022. 326 days later I took delivery. I'm going to use this journal to keep track of mods, maintenance and anything I do with the truck.

The first 100 miles I must say it was worth the wait. Comfortable, quiet and plenty of power for me. Coming from a Honda Fit this is a major upgrade. There will be a lot of pictures shared here.

I did an oil change and tire rotate today. The truck has 14,092.5 miles as of 8/18/2023. Truck is still doing great.

I performed and oil change on the truck before traveling next week. There was 4,020 miles on this oil. Oil looked good and it didn't burn a drop. I use OEM Ford filters and Pennzoil 5W-40 Euro Full Synthetic. 5.5 Qts. The tools to remove the skid are a 1/2 socket and a T27 torx.

This weekend I installed the bedside molle racks from BuiltRight Industries. Super well made product. The fit and install are great. I was able to keep the factory rail system by using the factory bolts.

I did remove the drop in bed liner sides since they said the racks wouldn't work with them. If you drilled some holes in the bed liner sides they would definitely fit. I don't mind not having the sides. I ordered some bags and mounts for the racks as well.

I took delivery one year ago today. I have 20,971 miles on it. The Maverick has been a great little truck. Can't wait to add more accessories and miles on it haha.
