Yes, yes, yes, yes. That is one yes for each tire. I'm running 33 cold on my Pirelli Scorpions. They were at 42 psi the day I brought the truck home.

Most dealers miss this which says a lot about how thorough some dealers are at car prep.

Even the 36 psi is probably to high.
Nowadays often recomended pressure is not calculated for max permissable axleloads and max technical carspeed anymore, but higher referencepressure of 35,36,41 or 42 psi, or even max allowed cold pressure of between 44 and 51 psi.

I can make a cold pressure /axleloadcapacity list for your tyre, with build in max reserve, but still acceptable comfort and gripp.

Then you " ONLY" have to determine the axleloads in your use 99% "acurate, the most tricky part, and your responcibility.

But even then if you search back GAWR/MPAW it might give pressure in the 20s psi.

Need to make the list from tyres next
1. Maximum load or loadindex
2.kind of tyre, so if standard load (AT 36 psi) or XL/reinforced/extraload ( AT 42 psi) in EUR system, US system 1 psi lower. I suspect SL because of 36 psi recomended.
3. Less important, speedcode, but shal be Q or above for wich maxload is given for 160kmph/99mph.

Also give if you want in kg or lbs, and psi or bar.

I just got my Maverick. The tire pressure from the dealership are about 42PSI for each tire. Car door instructions indicate the cold PSI should be about 36PSI. Should I release the pressure on the tires?
