... from the guy who will be waiting the longest. I'm a November 15th order, Hybrid Lariat Lux with CP360.

Obviously the wait has been frustrating. I know there are still unscheduled June/July orders out there, and I feel for you. But if it makes you feel better, the chances of you getting your truck within a year of ordering are much higher than me getting mine within a year of ordering.

Honestly, I'd just like a rough idea of my place in line. If I'm near the end of the queue, how far into MY22 order production are we? I think it would be interesting if we started a new database of people still waiting for a VIN and crunched some numbers on it.

Also, I'd like to make a point to all the Ford apologists here. While this is an industry wide problem, Ford was definitely hit the hardest, taking ten times as many vehicles out of production as companies like Honda or Volkswagen (source: https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a36519857/chip-shortage-aut-production-cuts/). That's not just bad luck, that's Ford having made decisions that increased their exposure to supply chain issues. Now potential customers are being impacted, and it would be really nice if Ford could go against SOP by sharing order and production numbers-- maybe just this once, maybe just this model, as a way of owning their mistake.

Anyway, just felt I'd lurked around here long enough and wanted to add my voice to the support group that is MTC. Despite what I wrote in the paragraph above, props to Ford for creating a truly unique vehicle that fills a need for so many people. I'm super excited for my truck.

Titus-Will in Tacoma. There are dealers closer to home for me but I was concerned about the volume/allocations and such. Probably wouldn't have made much of a difference.

How about you?

Westhills Ford. For what its worth. I’ve watched their website since Jan and they seem to get their monthly share of Mav’s.
Looking today I see 4 stock orders arriving soon….

Oh wow I'm in Navy Yard City so that's literally right by my house. šŸ˜‚ Their lot was always emptyyyyy every time I drove by, not just of Mavericks but any car. So that made me nervous. I was considering Port Orchard Ford as they had lots of Bronco Sports on the lot. If I hadn't taken so long to pick a dealer I might just have it already!

Port Orchard ford wanted a 1k non refundable deposit….they sell alot of F150’s but never have seen a mav there. Yeah Westhills used to be a large independent dealer years ago but was bought out by Westhills auto group. I ordered Jan 11 with emal confirm, $500 deposit, on a whim decided to chat with ford and they totally suprised me with a ā€œ your truck is in productionā€ geez, did not expect that so freakin soon! I have to call support on monday for a VIN to track…..oh yeah, worked in IT at the shipyard a few years ago!
