They're all sold, waiting for Maverick

How does the allocation work? For example, if a dealership gets 2 allocations and has 30 orders, how does this work for the other 28 orders?
Ford only builds the two allocated until the next allocation. Which ones are determined by what parts are available.

Because I keep seeing code 01, 02 etc the best code I rely on is 10
Code 10 is indeed the highest priority code that a dealer can assign. Codes lower than 10 (meaning higher priority) are only assigned by Ford (I think by the region), not by the dealer.

You might want to look at this transcription of @fordvideoguy's livestream where he explained the meaning of priority codes:
https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...er-notice-per-dealer-bulletin.2038/post-43033

There is also a fairly detailed description of the scheduling process here:
https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/how-do-allocation-work.1882/post-37469

As for Priority Code 01, I have read that it can be assigned by the region to essentially force an order into the production queue. But I assume that would still be subject to material constraints.

Thanks for the link. Read it. … I ordered in July but only have a priority code of 19. Oh well, I’ll probably get my truck next Spring , but that’ll give me more time and money to put down on it!

You could contact your dealer and ask for a fresh copy of your DORA to see if your Priority Code is still 19. If it is, you could ask you dealer why your priority is so low based on your order date. It probably won't hurt, and it might get him/her to bump you up a little.

So far, no one seems to think that the dealer or salesman has to do anything to "put forward" a particular order -- other than giving it a low priority code. That's reassuring to me because my salesman seems to be just waiting for Ford to pull the order.

I've been at Priority Code 02 since mid-August with no action, but... Hybrid. My dealer says he has allocation and my priority code is the lowest in their dealership.

If hybrids start scheduling and I don't get pulled I'll have to chalk it up to the spray-in liner, which my dealer tells me I can't drop because of the 02 priority code.

It's a blessing, and a curse...
Which dealership are you using? I'm guessing by what your're saying about the spray-in liner, it's an added item and not part of the LUX package?

Your dealer can change the priority code to 10, which is the highest a dealership can do.

Spray-in liner is not part of LUX package. (See order info in my signature.)
