I was wondering about Thorton chip tuner if any one has tried on 24 lariet Tremor. If its worth trying .

Wait till you are out of warranty. Even if you remove it when a problem occurs the PCM keeps a record of engine data, if it shows info outside the parameters of factory program, the factory can void the warranty

The Thorton chip is NOT supposed to operate outside factory parameters. It fine tunes. Check with them first!! I spent 160 for the chip a splitter and processor to phone. I think I get better milage and trans doesn't hunt for gears as much. My truck is still breaking in 2200 miles. I also have MRT side exhaust. So I won't talk numbers, chip is also still learning my driving habits. For 160 I give thumbs up .

Mine is at 2600 was going to wait till after first oil change to try but I also read what other members said about scam so not sure what I'll do .Just looking for better mileage

I'm curious now what others say. I haven't seen anyone post about Thorton. I know I get better mileage but I don't beat on my truck and I also DONT HYPERMILE. Trust your gut not some hybrid owner.

Hey t-hopper, MT Mark, how are u doing after the storm? I have a nephew down there. I'm in suburbs north of Detroit, go tigers. What color is your Tremor? I think if u can afford a Lariat TREMOR u can afford $160 to try Thorton.

I have Tremor in the Terrain color. My first new vehicle ever .
I did order the chip but more of an inpulse buy . Then I started to search the forum which should have been the other way around
I'm near Melbourne on east coast
No power but only a ton of little branches and pine cones .
I am and Tiger Fan as well Miggy and Pudge were my favorite
