Just got my 2025 Maverick Lobo (402A) the other day. Took me 4 months of searching to get it in OK! Absolutely in love with the truck, hardly any complaints found yet (other than the cheap tires, and the speakers playing engine noise in Lobo mode). Starting a list here of questions and upgrades for the future. All is welcome to pitch in on suggestions and options!

First performance upgrade will be lowering springs. What options should i be looking into?

Has anyone done exhaust modifications yet? Really like the Stainless Works systems so far, but haven't seen it on a Lobo yet

Also considering 1" spacers for a little extra stance, didn't know if anyone had done that yet either

Goodwin racing is good choice for springs. I have the mrt cat-back race pipe on my Lobo. Make sure which ever exhaust you pick fits the tremor/Lobo unless you get one that has the turn out in front of the passenger side rear tire.

If you are going for Goodwin Racing springs, get the adjustable rear sway bar too.
For convenience I added the tail gate gas spring found on Amazon.

Been raining here, and needs another bath before photoshoots. Here's the teaser from pickup

That's strange, I have the 402A and there’s no fake engine noise regardless of the mode I choose. I know that on the 702A the audio enhancement is active, but I thought the 402A didn’t have it at all.

Its on by default on my 402A.

Anyone not aware, or new, You can Forscan disable the audio enhancement. See the Forscan section here in the forums.

I've disabled mine, and re-enabled it. I think it actually supplements the 'natural' intake noises pretty well on this application.
But, go ahead and disable it and decide for yourself.

I will look again with forscan, mine is off since day 1 no audio enhancement. That's why I thought 402a did not have it.

What one did you use/buy?
I'm not super keen on the un-matched Blue with that kit. But I'm looking at some cheap options like this. I'd prefer black parts, and all black shock and no branding.
Mostly to keep the tailgate "open" and not flop while opened without a load on it.
I otherwise have no need for an 'assisted open', Mav tg is actually too light, but in a mostly good way.. Its just not heavy enough to stay open when going over bumps or pot holes n what not, so it will flap a bit which bugs me more than anything else.

I went with Maxzina Tailgate Assist. It was an easy install.

The directions on Amazon are different than the what was supplied. Maxzina supplied a bolt instead of nut. They also supplied a plastic washer to hold the bolt while installing. I trimmed the plastic to hide it.
