I noticed temperature displays on dash and screen differs. First time I observe this since getting the truck new couple weeks ago. Haven’t really driven it much. The ambient temperature is about 60 deg F, and the dash display that. At the screen, however, its display reads 72 deg F.
Question - am I’m correct to say reading outside ambient on the dash while reading cabin interior temperature on the screen? Guess if true, not looking at a malfunction.
Appreciate a reply.

Mine both read the same temp. Just so happened to look at it about an hour ago on my way home. 22 xl hybrid.

The dash display shows the external temperature. The temp shown on the infotainment screen is what you have your HVAC set to via the temp dial.

I drove my XLT today. Looks like I may have overlooked something…at the screen on upper left corner, saw a 72 temperature but on right upper side, saw another temperature- 60. This one corresponds with the dash display readout at 60. So need to figure out what’s what.

Could it be the 72 is what the cabin temperature/thermostat set at? Guessing have to turn temperature setting knob to see if the 72 changes. I try that tomorrow.

Thank you. I will check it out tomorrow, adjust the cabin thermostat see if value moves up or down. And which one.

I've had this happen also. It doesn't happen very often, I just ignore the radio screen when it does that.

Ok, as a followup to my query, I checked out the temperatures on the screen. Yes, as the thermostat knob changed, the number on the top left does go up and down as the settings change, this as well as the screen larger temperature settings pops up, changes also.

The upper right number matches the outside temperature display on the dash readout.

Curious, I pulled the vehicle window sticker tag, checking if maybe has that autopilot 360 option. It does not. But does have the front collision avoidance feature. LoL, now I’m not willing to test that!
