I was driving on highway, about 50mph, late afternoon with sun to my left, and slightly in front. This left the road shiny. My wife calls them "tar snakes", but the line of tar put down on a crack in the pavement. There were a lot of them on this road. The lane keeping system seemed to be confused, reading the "shiny" snakes and jumping me around until I had to disable it.

I have the same issue driving the Florida back roads. When the sun hits the pines along the road the shadows and light lines confuse the heck out of the lane-keeping system and it turns off.
