Sudden limp mode

I am on a vacation. Yesterday I did a panic stop (on I-5 in the Stockton area) and the truck went into Limp mode. I futzed with it for a minute and eventually got my power back. I searched the forum for how to recover from Limp mode, but could not get any results. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

get it to your dealer soon as ya can. call ford roadside assistance for a tow if needed.

Drop a Viagra in the gas tank and wait 30 minutes. Never leave home without them.

Could just be a dead or dieing battery. To bad. I'd avoid driving it and get to the dealer.

I found with this vehicle and it's problems you should have a code scanner, a voltage tester and a jump pack. Learn how to use them.

Forgot to mention also get a battery charger that has a trickle charge option or get a trickle charger.

It is definitely not my battery. I have an AGM battery with a real good charge.
