Steel Wheel Quality?

New member here. I sit on the fence too long to order a Hybrid and now I have to wait until next August. Gives me time to go through all these posts and hopefully time for Ford to fix all the first-run issues I've been seeing here. I want a spray in bed liner so hopefully mine won't come with holes in the gas tank and hopefully my tailgate will be level (to name a few). Quality Control in Mexico seems to be lacking.

Question I have that I can't fine in any posts is: Is the quality of the steel wheels good or are they going to be like my other 70'ies / 80"ies steel wheels and be covered in rust within 5 years?

I would think that comes down to maintenance and care. Fluid Film, ceramic spray, etc would go a long way to ensure rust is kept in check.
