START-STOP MODULE MODIFICATION IN TREMOR 2025

Hi. Does anyone know which module needs to be modified to set the Start-Stop to off by default?

There is a Spreadsheet on this forum that shows that the Start-Stop is in the PSCM module, but in the Tremor 2025 that option is not directly shown..

with the new legislation, i am wondering if gm, ford, etc will have a quick programming fix to put the auto off, off permanently ?

edit....winter is near it’s end, and with the increasing temps, the auto off is back to working. i have to get back in the habit of shutting it off at start up

Just to be clear there is NO new legislation nor old legislation requiring auto stop. Never was legislated, mandated, required, forced onto anyone. It GAVE the manufacturer a credit toward CAFE standards instead of actually increasing the MPGs. I doubt any manufacturer will eliminate it on future models since this "new legislation" was nothing more than an EO which can be reversed in 3 years. Manufacturers plan in 10 to 20 year cycles not 4 year cycles. Also my 2023 Chevy and the 2021 before it the ASS remained off after the button was pushed until I turned it back on. That is something Ford could change in the software on all models if they choose to.

I don't if the Tremor software is diffrent under the Forscan but on 2025 my XL just go to bdcm Module configuration find BMS/Auto Start system and you will see it's enabled click on it change to disabled then find the Write button and left bottom click it follow prompt your done.

Nothing happened. It modified the parameter, but the Start-Stop button stays on when the engine is turned on.

I disabled it in only one place, where you mentioned. BDCM module.
