My biggest impression is, it's not nearly as bad as some say. Also, a couple of recommendations:
1. Experiment with the listening position setting. I like the driver setting a lot better than all.
2. For the first time I can remember, I prefer boosting the mid setting on the eq. It's almost like they built in a default v shape, but to my ears, the setting with all eq at 0 just sounds unclear.
