I have history with this shop, they did a fantastic job on Wifey's 2010 Prius's system, that died out of warranty. When you find someone still in business after COVID, I tend to want to support them.Life is too short to suffer through a crappy sound system. I do a fair bit of work travel and enjoy having a good system. My wife hates it loud, but our 16 year-old enjoys it, and car audio is another hobby we have in common now.
Go to some local car audio & security shops and get a few quotes. Tell them you want something decent but not too expensive, and see what they quote. You can actually open a thread here and ask for opinions on the parts list, quoted price, etc. You can always upgrade what what they initially quote but in my opinion DO NOT give them a budget up front. Too many shops will build a janky system cheaper than your budget. For example, $2k is a reasonable budget, but if you tell them that you might get a system that should only cost $1k, and they price it at your budget to see if you're naive enough to buy it.
