My dad added a sub to his stereo when I was about 12 (1984). Ian Curtis had been dead for a bit but I was finally old enough to hear what the “edgy” kids were listening too. This is what he played when folks came over to hear what that sub could do- it was as big as a coffee table. Broke my heart when the song was replaced by Top Gun flight scenes, Ironically.
