So how does the FordPass Rewards points work?

So how do you use your FordPass Rewards points work? I want to use it to get something from their accessories site but don't see any option to put points to cover the costs. Do you have to go to a dealership to do it? Also, if it's sold out online does that also mean you won't be able to get it at the dealerships or do they sometimes keep some stock on hand? I've never done this before obviously, lol.

You need to talk to someone in the parts department of a dealership either in person or over a wire. Unlikely they'd stock on hand accessories for a vehicle in so relatively limited numbers, but possibly can backorder.

I just got my truck on Saturday and my Ford Pass points yesterday for 42,000. I tried the same thing to order the splash guards and had to go to my dealer today as I could not order them from the Ford accessories website. My dealer ordered them and use the points and they will arrive in 2 days. Hope this helps.

After 10 days of your vechile sell you can go to the dealer and redeem your points. Once the points show up

Anyone know the approximate value of each point? So if the truck costs 25k do you get 25,000 points worth $250 or something like that.

I think each point is like $0.005 or something like that. You get 42,000 points for buying the Maverick, which comes out to like $210.

42k points =$210 that's how many points you get when you buy the truck

Dealers don't stock accessories for the Maverick and need to be ordered with some items back ordered with no hint as to when they will be available, things like floor mats and mud flaps you need to go in and order directly and pre pay

I tried to order some accessories thru ford accessories.com but the closest dealers that would take my order was pretty far away.

I went to my local dealer parts dept and ordered mud flaps and window vents. A few days later they came in and the service dept had to take care of my ford pass points. Took a few mins but no problem. No money was involved. Just my points. Nothing out of pocket.
