Can you explain this more? Did you depin the two wires and pull them out of the connector? Did you then connect a short length of wire that is then connected to the original wire and the new one via a butt connector? Or did you depin each wire and then connect each wire with the one of the new wires and put in the same pin? Some more elaboration would be greatly appreciated.
No proem. Using one male connector that looked like a miniature spatel I plugged into the other main connector wire hole. It seats snug. No cable splicing or removing needed. Both cables are the thickest and on each side of the connector. It's easy job. Now knowing what I did will take me 30 min to complete on 2026. Hardest portion was removing spare tire. So the new wires just get connected to spade connectors and they shoved in alongside the existing wires in the connector like shown below? No de-pin required?No proem. That's correct. Exactly as you said. Slide alongside original cable until it firm seated. I used a few shrink cables to provide a firm support And bent.So the new wires just get connected to spade connectors and they shoved in alongside the existing wires in the connector like shown below? No de-pin required?

Good question. I saw a post before I started that some one removed driver side panels to access door lock cables. I started doing the same. But it was harder to fish cable all the way back via access hole under the seat. That access hole covered with rubber flange that can be removed and reinstalled in seconds. Also, main cable runs along passanger side as well and connects to the back up camera. That said, it's was practically way easier to remove plastic under the seat and run the cable along side main power line. Try to remove all plastic from the wall / seat belt and under the seat. Use fabric/cloth tape to make it Factory made. Any questions welcome.
