Matching ceramic front tint to factory rear. In hindsight I wish I would have gone slightly darker, but this will do for now.

I’ve got tint on my radar and am planning on going a step darker than factory to achieve an all-around match while also getting better heat rejection from the back windows. Also want to to the 5% sun strip and 70% on the rest of the windshield to complete the heat rejection. Anyone with the sun strip have any tips? Do you run into trouble seeing traffic lights through it at night or wish the strip was a bit past AS1?

I had a much lower 5% visor on my FoST (granted the windshields are different and slope differently), and while it blocks the signal lights, i never had an issue seeing the signal lights (even at night).

I would go below AS1 on the Maverick (at least to cover up the stock 'tinting' around the rear view mirror). Just to make it look a tad bit nicer from the outside when looking around the mirror area. It would just look more uniform. I think any good tint shop would recognize this and maybe do it or suggest it to make it look clean.

Here is where I wish my front visor came down another 1/2 inch. Not to cover all of the mirror mount, but just to make it look nicer to cover up the camera pod and the factory tinting around it..just another 1/3 to 1/2" would be all it would have took for me to be completely happy.
(I know, the focus isn't quite right, but hope you get the idea.)

How do you like the soft roll bed cover?! I'm debating between this or the hard tri fold!
it is a tri fold just a cheap one from Amazon. it's ok but it does leak a little and you lose about a foot of bed space because it only folds back twice!

Whooo-weee.
That red-black theme, and those rims?
Something about those rims draw me in. That exposed metal 'tip'.
What are they?
Looks like the front needs some ST rotors to fit that wheel! :)

Are the door handles blacked out with some sort of cover, or how?

Just had my front windows tinted this morning. Love it. Makes a huge difference down here in South Texas. It is a 30% tint

How well does the ceramic keep the heat from sun out of the car? I don't really need dark tints, but was considering adding the ceramic to help against the hot summer sun.

Love those rims but would bother me that both sides don't face the same. I know that would make it harder to rotate the tires though. Best looking rims I have ever seen on a truck though.

I also really like your window rain guards because they are much thinner than others I've seen. Where did you get them?

The tint shop had a deal at the time so I went with it. I've never had ceramic tint, but I'd say it is a noticeable difference compared to my wife's car that has regular tint. If its within your budget then I say go for it!

Ceramic will reject heat, highly rec. cermic tints. Also less prone / will not 'fade' or 'discolor' over time from exposure.

Get the darkness (or lack there of) you prefer, just make sure its ceramic film.
I find a darker tint is good for Security and Privacy purposes. But Dark isn't needed for heat rejection, as long as you go ceramic films.

I was even considering an ~80% or something very light on the full windshield, just for the heat rejection. I probably should have done it that way..but the full w/s is not cheap.
