Well, I have passed by the plant 3 times in December so far... and will do again next Wednesday, Dec 27th going from my home in Alamos Sonora Mexico to my home in Green Valley Arizona USA to take my mamá to Tucson Airport to fly her home... I'd love the opportunity to ferry my Maverick from HMO to NOG in the process... Only, it's not mine... It's the dealership's until I buy it from them, no? LOL

Yep that's the line they use until we can buy these things online and have them delivered to our driveways.
That time is coming.
They tell you, you aren't the customer but the dealership is.
If I buy a John Deer lawnmower at Home Depot - I certainly am the customer of John Deer.

Yeah, I am thinking that too. I have to calm down. Try to enjoy the vehicle if it ever does get here.
What didn't help right now was getting a call from my dealership asking about my interest on a couple of Maverick they had listed on their lot on their website.
Dealers list every customer order on their lot -0 they are not really for sale. This woman was just cold calling about trucks they don't really even have.
When I asked about my truck she said oh did you order one?
I hung up.
I really do despise these dealerships.
But thank you you are right I have to calm down to somehow enjoy this truck at some point.

Hmmm, that is very encouraging that things appear to be moving along again. Production started on mine this week 12/18, I got a WIndow Sticker yesterday, but still not seeing any modules fired up on the motorcraft site... I do have the spray in bedliner in mine, so that necessitates a visit to another section of the campus after it comes off the assembly line. Still, maybe there is hope I'll get mine quickly... I ordered from Horne Ford in Nogales AZ, right on the border (Well 3 miles from it). It's the first dealership any USA bound Maverick passes, whether on train or semi; just 3hrs north of the HMO Ford factory.

My window sticker shows transport by Rail. That means it goes from HMO and shoots up to PHX on train first then comes back NOG on a Semi afterwards. It would be wonderful if I could get my truck by 1/9 , 1/10 as I'm out of country again very quickly afterwards.

I was production week of 12/11 and my modules didn't pop until 12/18. Had an update everyday since - built (back from the SIBL shop) Tuesday, Shipped Wednesady, dealer said it reached Nogales today on the train. Seems the assembly line was the holdup and then everything moved quick.

I think that will happen soon.
Right now (at least in Michigan) there are rules and regulations - even laws - that demand you have to go thru a dealership to buy a new vehicle - except Tesla, go figure.
Dealerships contribute heavily to politicians from both parties to keep it the way it is.
But we are getting sick of it.
A few years I think and they will be service centers.
They have become like little fiefdoms in old England/Scottland - John Smith Ford now run by his great great grandkids. They have a lock.
A few more years - and they deserve it.

I certainly wouldn't mind having the direct purchase process without the "middlemen", but I would be very shocked and surprised if that happens in most of our lifetimes for ICE/Hybrid. Just don't see the likelihood of practically every state and federal politician giving up all that pork money and also the effort in having to totally rewrite the the laws for every state and federal level. The dealers and NADA have them all by the balls. (Just my opinion - would love to be wrong)

My production date was 11/30 and no change in tracker for me.

Has anyone found how to create a CSX railroad account to track the railroad car number without an endless loop of them asking for your password when you never gave one opening an account in the first place?

All window stickers say it was shipped by rail - even if it hasn't yet. In the ford.com chat online when they give you a railcar number you can track it at the Csx site - or whatever regional railroad they use at the end.

NOPE that is why I am confused. I ordered a 2024 Lariet with 4k tow and that was it …. No additional add ons . Production was to start 11/20 was changed to 11/30 and as of 12/22 it is still in production and No one from ford has any clue . So I wait !
