I don't know what these cloth seats are made out of. But my daughter gave it a good test Friday.
Her Thermos spilled on the seat she wasn't sitting in.
I was taking her to school at the time and also headed to do a grocery pickup for Walmart afterwards.
So I wasn't able to attend to it until reaching Walmart.
It sat on that back seat for at least 20 mins. I was expecting to use a towel to dry it out and soak up some of the water through the cushion.
All of that water was still bubbled up on the seat.
The seats in the Maverick may be referred to as budget. But they sure repel water better than any vehicle seats I've experienced! Even the leather seats I've had, stain for while until fully dried.
