well I tried a reset again; and it worked this time; not sure that is a good think. I have an appointment at L H Miller ford next Wed , when I return to Mesa. The Mav was in for a software update that caused the check engine light to come on. If sync3 needed an update thought they would have done so. I called my service advisor to see if they did; but no call back yet. Will see how the infotainment Gods behave till then.

Ray, if you're still running Sync version 3.4.22251, I'd be willing to bet an upgrade to the latest version would help with most if not all of your sync issues. Perhaps they didn't check that for you when you were last in?
