Only had my truck about a month or so now.

I however, with the truck turned off, can see some light scratching in the middle of the screen.

Im curious - does the LCD screen have a coating or film on it?

Anyone else noticing this?

I figured it would scratch so I simply bought a screen protector through Amazon and now don't worry about it. There are posts on forum about protecting it just like most people do with the smart phones (they are not that smart of a phone).

Do it now before it gets worse is what I think. Or just leave it and use it.

First day add on. After seeing what happened to the touch screen on my 2014 Jeep Cherokee.

I put one of those phone type screen savers on mine. They sell them on Amazon cut for the maverick. My 2019 Cherokee was bought used. Its screen is scratched terribly. I hear those screen are very expensive to replace.

Nope. Nothing yet after four months. But to be honest, I don't touch it very often ;)

I had an iPad with scratches on the screen. Installed a MATTE screen protector and couldn't see the scratches anymore. A previous GLOSS screen protector DID show the scratches.
