It needed a wash from it's Colorado dirt. Chemical Guys Honeydew Snow Foam Shampoo, Foam Cannon, and Pressure Washer. No drive through car washes for my vehicles unless its touchless, and only in desperate times.

Anyone else wash their own vehicles cause you can't stand the thought of brushes touching your paint?

I likewise use a foam cannon along with the two bucket wash method. Drive through car washes do in fact scratch the vehicles. I was in a hurry one day and it was freezing cold. Now I have some light scratches to remind me of that day. No more though. I can live with a FEW LIGHT scratches. I'm not going to add to it though. Power washer rinse will be my minimum from now on.

Foam cannons are just a novelty. You still need to wash the car with a mitt.

Yes, I do the same thing as CZaugg. Now I also spray on a finisher that makes it super water repellant and dry it with an air blaster. It cuts my drying time down to just a few minutes. A good leaf blower will do the job. I ended up buying a Metro Vac air blaster because...well...when you're obsessed these things happen.

I foam followed by 2 bucket wash too. That is when I need to get the road salt off. I also like to do rinseless washes for light dirt followed by a drying aid.

I don't personally use one (yet), but recognize the benefit. As a first step it adds a thick layer of soap which lifts dirt and lubricates to help minimize scratches when following with a soapy wash mitt, rag, etc. Some people will foam on, let soak, spray off which is just like a touchless carwash; effective and easy, but not as thorough as following with a hand wash.

And I mean who doesn't like a bubble bath, right? :D
