These emails are likely erroneous. I already know of two people who received these emails last week and then took delivery a few days later.

Ford knows exactly what they are doing. Everyone who complained about that seemingly high delivery charge? Guess they get the last laugh now that fuel prices have skyrocketed and no end in sight. I'm on my 3rd -rescheduled to be in production- notice for an ECO, and not even crickets regarding anything after the congrats, for my hybrid ordered at the same time. Looking at 8 months for the eco and ?? for the gas saver! Must be a chip shortage effecting Ford's scheduling computers! I can get Amazon and Walmart oddball items quickly, sometimes the very next day, and a photo em as it's being dropped off at my door. Perhaps Ford should just be a marketplace seller for them!

Already have.. I am a patient person but at this point I have to say Fords lack of communication is some BS
I keep hearing people say this, WHAT communications do you want?

Well when I ordered and put down a deposit last June we were all led to believe it would be the Fall before we got our vehicles. It is now spring. Our information on what's happening doesn't come from Ford but from Third parties. Ford has our emails so why not send an email blast out explaining to the people who are actually waiting what is going on. That's how a customer oriented corporation should operate.

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: Ford is communicating more than any other brand would.
If you ordered a Toyota or Honda, you would not receive any email updates. You would be at the mercy of getting all info from your dealership. (and the dealer wouldn’t be calling you until the vehicle showed up.)

I hardly call Tim a third party, since he is a representative of a Ford Dealer. I'll ask again, WHAT information do you want?

Now, if you don't believe these third-party people's info about the Maverick why not call Ford yourself and complain?

A reasonable person could piece together what is going on just by what we see in the news. , supply chain issues, Chip shortages, and staffing issues.

You can't "order" a Toyota or honda from the factory-like you can from Chevy, Ford... At the Asian dealerships, you just tell the salesman what color you want and packages (if they have them) and just wait for It to arrive.

I ordered my Honda. At the end of the day, the dealership placed the order for you. Ford may have your name, but the dealer places the retail order the same as any Honda dealer.

Regardless, Ford is doing more to communicate to the customer.
