Today, while going to the car I noticed what appears to be rust dust collecting between my rear window and my tonneau cover. The truck is only eight months old. Any clue is what’s going on?

Can you get to it with a small soft brush? Looks like it’s on the surface but not sure from “here”.

Yes, it’s on the surface. I was able to dust it off with my finger.
