The Maverick can hold 1500 lbs less the weight of the driver and the tonneau.

Well it can hold a lot more but it would not be advisable to try and drive 85mph for hours with a lot more weight.

No, I just went to my parts department and had them order me one for a F150 tremor.

These covers are amazing. My business partner has had one on his super duty for many years and almost 1 million miles. He hauls his razor on it.

Yeah someone referenced a moldable black silicone putty that you can kind of smear in there. I plan to do that to my tonneau at some point.

There isn't a frame that goes around the bed like most tonneau covers. I would be worried that silicone might heat up on hot days and stick to the gasket on the cover.

Great post. Do you know how much this tonneau weighs? And does the maker make a claim as to what can be loaded ON it?
