Interesting… I was a 2021 order with VIN that rolled over to 23MY. When tracking my order on Ford’s site, it says my order was confirmed 11/14/22, but I got a private offer code from 1800 number.
When did you receive the notification that your order would be rolled over? I asked about mine rolling over Sept 15th and was told my build date of Oct 31st was already scheduled with VIN so it would not roll over. I didn't get a notification of push back to December until November 4th (way past date for qualification).

Did you ask the 1800 number to provide you with a code or ask if one was available to you? I just got off the phone with the dealership. They are going to call the the benefits department on Monday to try and get something worked out on my behalf. The dealer themselves weren't able to see a private offer available.

Hammer the SOB's (dealer and especially FMC). They never applied my "private offer" until it was discovered that my address on one order ended with "Trail" while the new order ended with "Trl" (Post office standard). Eventually I got it all corrected (though late in the game) and received the PO, but I had to ride their ass and tell them what to do and look for before it ever happened. "NEVER SURRENDER!!!" ;)

I was never notified by Ford or my salesperson that my order was due to rollover. Came on here for first time in a year and saw posts about rollovers. Reached out to salesperson 11/28/22 and apparently he had no idea they had 88 rollovers at their dealership so he sent me the new order form that I signed and sent back the day of the deadline 11/29 or 11/30
Sometime in December I called 1800 and asked if if I was entitled to the private offer and he found my code and gave me it. My salesperson said he would be able to see it connected to my new VIN but didn’t confirm if he actually could at the time so I’ve kinda just been hoping that I can give my code when I pick the truck up.

Sounds like you should be good if they were both able to confirm it at least exists. Hope it all works out for you!

That's the plan. The 1800 could see both orders but since it didn't flip till after the Oct 1st deadline, they said they couldn't do anything. Just seems like bad business imo.

Thanks, likewise! If they can see both orders under your name, then that’s gotta mean something

Yeah, they couldn't find mine at first and then I gave them my other email address and it turned out they mixed up my address. They had my street name and number right but had the city and zip of my dealer.

Called dealer again then he said when it is actually in production it will be issued... Still a nope after I got the it's shipped email in 1/14 I called customer service again to see on 1/18 and they said it was in the system and gave me the certificate #

As stated earlier in this thread, all over this forum you can find info about the private offer. I didn't see anyone stating conditions in this thread about this.

There are two conditions that must apply for the transition private offer. First, your 2022 order must have been COVP (Customer Order Verification Program) approved. It's Ford's way of verifying the order is for an actual person and not a name put on an order so the dealer can attempt to get more inventory. Second, your truck did not get built and you were rolled over to a 2023 order. If these 2 conditions are met, you qualify for the private offer. As someone stated earlier, when it doesn't show up it is typically because of mismatched or mislinked information between orders. Ford will not fix this, only the dealer can take care of it. Not all dealers are eager to assist in helping. Your dealer has to contact their sales rep and/or their inventory specialists to get it worked out. If your dealer is helpful and know you qualify, they can file an exception when you get your truck and purchase it, so they can give you the discount at purchase and dealer get reimbursed later. According to some in the forums, their private offers didn't show up till their truck was built and/or shipped. At least this is my understanding of everything.

There are many people like me who had a 2022 order that was not COVP approved, and I work at a Ford dealer. Whatever the process is, my dealer failed to do what was necessary on my order to make it COVP approved. So, after mine was built and shipped, I contacted Ford and still no private offer. I got my sales manager to contact their inventory specialist. He told them they messed up and didn't get 2022 order COVP approved. Their contact stated there are many people in this situation. He advised my sales manager to file for the exception after I purchase. Then when Ford verifies info, the will send a check to my dealer and then my dealer will give me a check. I do not like this at all because it is just words. I want the discount at purchase like it should be. I know my dealer will do what they say and file for the exception as they were advised, but I have the sick feeling that after the sale, it will fall apart on Ford's side and I'll never see that money. It seems like it would be easy to verify because when I talk to Ford and give them my original order code and sales code, they see my order and when it was processed, in Jan 2022. Time will tell. My truck, if not delayed, should be at my dealer in the next week. We will see what happens.

"Whatever the process is, my dealer failed to do what was necessary on my order to make it COVP approved."

That process is making the transition before Oct 1st, according to the 1800 number. The 1800 number stated that in order to qualify for program# 38560, you must have the following:
-A 2022 order that transitioned to 2023
-The order must be transitioned before Oct 1, 2022

Ford could see both my 2022 order and the 2023 rollover. However, since it didn't happen in the allotted time, I "don't qualify". The 1800 also advised me to ask my dealer for an ETP, which I did last night.

My order for the 2023 was done before Oct1, 2022. What is an ETP? Is that an "Exception"?

Because I originally had a scheduled build date of Oct 31, 2022, my dealer wasn't able to convert it to a 2023 order. Big Ford converted it in November after they pushed the build date to December for those final orders. Because it wasn't converted until November, I no longer qualified for the private offer under the current policy.

ETP = Exception To Policy

Gotcha. I just wanted to make sure I knew what it was to assist my dealer, who I work for, to do whatever is possible to get that offer that they screwed up. Anyway, just now found out my truck was delivered just about a 1/2 hour ago. Fixing to head down there to check it out.

UPDATE:
It took the dealership a couple weeks to actually call and get with whoever they needed to talk to but they assured me they were able to submit paperwork to get the Private Offer for me. The truck is supposed to arrive in the next three to five weeks so I'll probably reach out to the 1800 number to verify if they can see it on their end. THE WAIT IS ALMOST OVER!
