This was your first post. Was this the date of your Hybrid Order?

I ordered my Maverick Hybrid on Aug 23rd.

This was a false positive. It was badly worded and only meant a one week pause. The following week Hybrid's were again scheduled.

My Hybrid got scheduled on 9/16 just nine days after you changed to an EcoBoost.

So the holdup in not getting scheduled was having the non-spray-in bedliner (probably Hard Drop-in Bedliner? - Late Availability) on your order and not because it was a Hybrid.

So you now have a 2020 Ranger to tide you over until your Maverick gets delivered.

What!!! o_O

You now no longer have the 2020 Ranger and now bought a 2022 Nissan Frontier that you are not happy with.

And unless you placed your Hybrid XL Order before the 11/15 cutoff date you will be waiting until next June to really have an order and then it will be for MY2023 and probably won't have it until sometime in 2023.

In a span of 6 days (Sep 8-13) you flipped from a Hybrid to EcoBoost then bought a 2020 Ranger to tide you over even though you really wanted the Hybrid. Then to make matters worse you sold the 2020 Ranger for a 2022 Nissan Frontier that you are extremely unhappy with and now again placed an order for an XL Hybrid.
That is some good investigative work. What the hell is going on with OP.

It’s your money and your choice. Does EVERY friggin decision in life have to be on how much something costs, how much you’ll lose or make? Do what you want. If it’s costs you something, and you’re happy, what’s the difference? (Assuming you can afford it)
Anyone ever go to a live sports event? Why waste money? Watch it on TV
Ever go to a restaurant? Why waste money? Eat at home? Ever go out for a drink? Why? It’s cheaper at home? Get off the guy’s ass! It’s HIS money. He understands he’s going to lose some. Let him do what he wants
That’s a good way to put it and appreciate it. All those folks certainly make good points and I’m not debating my logic is flawed. But, just talking about swapping one truck for another. Not going out buying a Porsche.

It didn't start as such. I was just interested in when his initial order was placed.

Then things started to get weird. Op posted here at the top that he had an XL Hybrid on order then went with the 2022 Nissan Frontier but somehow along the way the Hybrid got switched to an EcoBoost then a 2020 Ranger 4wd with 18k miles for $28,000 was then wasn't purchased.
All this is correct. You’re not wrong to be confused by the stupidity of it all lol.

I had that problem in the 2021, but fit well in the 2022. Did not fit at all in Tacoma, Colorado or Canyon. Bumped my head everytime I checked the sideview. Fit well in Ridgeline. I’m 6’4” 220 so it’s always a toss-up.

How did you order a Hybrid Maverick today? They quit selling them on November 15. You can order a 2023 hybrid some time summer of 2022...
He didn't say that he ordered it today only that he put in an order on an XL unit - no date given.

Did he mention his annual income, SSN, frequency of ejaculation, shoe size?
Let’s really interrogate him!
Standard procedure from the Vultures here right? (y) Nothing goes un-scrutinized.

I ordered a Maverick way back when and decided to cancel because my vehicle at the time was in dire straits and I needed to move on.
Now, I'm in a 2022 Nissan Frontier, but can't say I'm happy with the price or the 20mpg average.
Put in an order on the Maverick XL like I wanted to all along today and am going to just wait it out. Even went with the Hybrid, so I know I'll be in for the long haul.
Fingers crossed that I can get something decent out of my 2022 Frontier. Who knows what the market will look like next year when my Maverick is ready, but regardless, I won't be paying 43K for the Maverick so I think I'm going to come out ahead.
Hoping for the best!
Wow. What a turn around. Yup, you are in for a long long wait. I'd call your nearest dealer to contact you when a Maverick comes in. You may get lucky and not have to wait for a 2023 model.

I've been wondering why the people over the Maverick Truck Club haven't started selling Maverick Truck Club decals and cloth patches. I ordered a cyber orange lariat hybrid June 25th. Hoping to get it before February. I would like to have some swag before I get the truck.

Glad everybody enjoyed the thread…I don’t mind having a good laugh at my own expense, especially when I’ve completely crapped the bed of my own accord like I did with this truck :poop::ROFLMAO:

Never bought the Ranger.
I guess it sounds weird all together, but in reality there weren't any complicated decisions. Had no date on my Mav, and no information from a dealer who was just as confused, had a really unreliable '97 Ranger that I wanted to get rid of and did. Got excited about a Ranger, then drove it and didn't dig it. Now have a Frontier and thinking I should have stuck with the Maverick after all. That's all it is.
well good on you for realizing what you want. Maybe you will get what you paid for the Toyota and only be out taxes

It looks like they’ll be able to use my original order number. I should know more tomorrow.
