I ordered my Maverick Hybrid Lariat with Lux Package on Sept. 15, 2022 and took delivery from the dealer on Apr. 10, 2023. Additional options were Remote Start, Co-Pilot 360, and a Spray-in Bedliner. On 9/16/22, I removed the bedliner to prevent any delay due to constraints. When I saw in late January/early February that Ford was offering a discount for the full price of the Cargo Management System if ordered with a Spray-in Bedliner (since orders were lower than expected) I asked my salesman to add them to my order. Too late. My Maverick was scheduled for production. Once I saw my window sticker I realized the Spray-in Bedliner had never been removed. Again, I was told it was too late to change. I’m not sure that I would like the handle on the factory rail system, so I’m perfectly happy with the system I installed.

I’ve had my Maverick for six months. Here are two videos, split between interior and exterior, to show all that I’ve added to it.

Below is a listing of those add-ons. I include the dates the parts were ordered (mostly through Amazon) because I’m sure that, at some point, the links will expire.

Some items were ordered before I received my Maverick, because I couldn’t ignore the sale prices. I purchased the BAKFlip MX4 Tonneau Cover from a vendor at discountbandit.com for less than $1000. That link is no longer valid, so I’ve linked it to Amazon. The Muslogy Bed Mat had a steep discount during the Sept. PRIME day on Amazon, so I finally bought that.

I wired the Tailgate Light Strip directly to the taillights (rather than using the 4-pin plug) so I didn’t lose my blind spot indicators. I did use a 4-pin trailer harness, cutting it in half and wiring one end to the lightbar and the other end to my taillights so that future replacement would be as simple as unplugging.

I purchased the Crago Management System (custom) from Maverick2112, a member at Maverick Truck Club, through eBay, but it’s not currently available.

The video for removing the Head Unit to route a USB cable behind the dash can be seen here.

On the installation of the lightbar did you have to deal with running the strip over the hole that accesses the spare tire release?

The lightbar runs along the top edge of the spare tire access, as seen in this closeup photo, and does not obstruct the opening.

Also, plugging the lightbar into the hitch plug cancels out blind spot detection, so I wired a 4-prong plug to my driver-side tail light (with one of the turn signal wires crossing over to the passenger-side tail light) so I didn't have to plug the light bar into the hitch plug.

And -- I assume this is due to circuitry -- the lightbar does not come on as parking or running lights.

Thank you! I thought that’s what I saw in your video but this confirms it. I like not having to plug in to the hitch plug too.
